What follows here is a bit of a trip into the past. A few years ago I was working on project to focus on providing free public Internet access, independant of the Toronto Free-Net. What follows is my look at the technical issues associated with such a project as of then. Some aspects of the following are outdated in the extreme. Still, I am leaving this up as some people may find this either ammusing and/or inspiring:
